Hi! I’m Laura.
I’m a mental health professional, graduate student, former competitive swimmer of 16 years, and outdoor enthusiast currently living in Kentucky after growing up in Alabama and East Tennessee.
When I’m not working or studying, you’ll usually find me fishing, hiking, reading, cooking, journaling, crafting, or chasing new adventures with my dog, Az, and cat, Hala.
I’m also autistic, which means I tend to dive headfirst into hobbies, collect entirely too many interests, and notice details other people often miss.
This blog is a place to share those adventures, hobbies, projects, and whatever else happens to be on my mind. It’s also home base for my latest adventure: trying to build Reel Country, my little Etsy shop where I turn fishing lures into keychains and accessories inspired by life outdoors.
